11 marinas surrounding the lake.

360 miles of shoreline provides ample space for you to drop anchor
to enjoy the warm water and get away from the crowds..Some of the
favorites coves on the lake are Baily and Allie Coves Point.
Watersking
is also popular at Lake Shasta and you can also rent ski boats
and jet skis at all of the Marinas. Some of the Marinas also offer

KAYAKING
Northern California Kayaking is a great adventure for kids
and adults alike and Whiskeytown Lake Kayaking in the Redding area
is
offered
at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. Hop on a kayak built for
two and explore some of the more quiet coves around Whiskeytown
Lake while you learn more about the natural and cultural values of
the
park
Daily tours are available and vary from morning tours to evening
tours. Reservations are required.
Children must be at least six years old. All participants must know how to
swim. Register in advance by calling the Whiskeytown (530) 243-5345 Monday
