Anybody who knows anything about Redding can tell you that it gets very toasty in the summer months with the daily temperature in July at averaging at around 98 degrees. It is not uncommon for temperatures to reach over a 100 degress on several days during July and August. However, this is one of the reasons why the Redding area is so popular with watersports activities in the summer and many people visit this area to go water sking, houseboating and fishing on the local lakes.

Winters on the other hand can be cool but like other parts of California, you can also experience some nice warm days in the winter with the temperature occasionally reaching into the seventies.
